Should Saalim be a RB ?
Halfway through the NFL preseason some guys are beginning to flash serious glimpses of talent , however none of which are named the fan favorite Saalim ... With Stills looking like a more explosive Moore ( see what I did there ) and Toon looking like Colston 2.0 you can only imagine the possibilities ! But where does that leave Hakim ?
Athletic Physique , 4.2 speed , explosive runner ... Hmmm sounds like a more physical Chris Johnson a tad bit , no ? With PT aging , as well as Sproles perhaps we are attempting to fit a square peg into a round hole ... When Sproles is done here ( hopefully a long while from now ) we will need a youthful explosive guy to fill that role ... Hakim would already know the offense and could catch out of the backfield , With all these upgrades we've gotten who wouldn't want a Reggie Bush 2.0 ? |
You Can't Say Impossible without first saying Im Possible ...

Re: Should Saalim be a RB ?
He should be given a chance as the kick/punt returner ( if he can catch them )
Id love to see his speed on kick returns |

I didn't care for Bush 1.0, too much dance, not enough punch.

Re: Should Saalim be a RB ?
I'm with Diz..... If he has that kind of speed and can catch a kick or punt... Let him at it.
Field position on a return is crucial.... So is the health of Sproles.... And Cadet can't hold on to the ball. We already have a crowded backfield and one more body wouldn't serve any use. |

Doesn't matter who we have returning kicks if they don't stop the holding penalties.Been far too many in the 2 games.Every decent return seemed to be getting called back.

Little things like that bug me,just letting the steam out.
No sense in letting my head explode before the season real thing starts. British team screwing up the relay again today doesnt help. Mental errors and stupid mistakes/pens drive me up the wall CONCENTRATE! |

Yes.... And we should use Jenkins in short yardage situations, just like "the Fridge"!
