Texas game

This one counts in my book. Well at least the first half. If our defense can handle the Texans I will be happy. If not its time to worry. Im sure our offense will be fine, it always is, but this is where we are going to see the glaring problems with defense. If we can hang with the Texans I think we can at least be competitive defensively against anyone. I love the third pre season game. First glimpse of what real football is gonna look like in months.

I agree that the first 1/2 is important. BUT it still does not count. This is still a game that the coaches are trying out new plays & ways of doing things. I hope they work on the run some even tot the detriment of the rest of the offense.

It will likely be three quarters of starters, both sides.
The Texans might even have a QB controversey after this one.

We should know who our LBs are going to be; We'll see our future
geaux-to WRs, and our RB picture should be clear too. Hopefully,
our O-line pass protects, Brees walks away in one piece, and I can
sleep at night.

I hope the game makes an NFL replay on the NFL channel because I can't find the game on anywhere.

Im with ya here Dude, im anxious to see how we hold up. i honestly see good things coming this year. I may be attending this game, but my damn fantasy league that we have money in decided to make the draft this sunday at 4pm! so may have to watch it on the ol' tube. nonetheless, i'll probably get a better angle on how our team performs in different aspects, so thats always a positive. WhoDat bud
