You are correct Danno but in his defense, I would take Vacarro over Harper at this point. The things that Harper does well like blitzing and hitting hard, Vacarro can do just as well. Vacarro offers more energy and better coverage and tackling at this point.

The problem is that the defense can't get off the field. The texans are overcoming penalties and sacks and continuing drives and winning the battle of field position and time of possession. Drew and company can't score if they don't have the ball.

no, I'm implying that the defense has held it's on with a stuttering offense to start the game. 13 points given up in the first half against #1s is a lot better than last year

I wasn't saying that Harper was the lynchpin of suckage on our defense, nor do I see how you thought that's what I was saying. Yeah they all looked brutal on that drive, especially Lofton. Just saying that seeing Harper running down Daniels like that (talking about that one specific play) was something we've all seen way too often.

Aside from that, I love the way Ingram and PT are playing right now and Stills is ****ing lights out!

Truth, Andre is a wily vet and a great receiver. He just seems so jumpy right now, he's gotta calm down and do play like we've seen him play.
Biggest take away from that half is we have a lethal screen game....and K Stills is a beast.

Keenan Lewis looks like garbage. He was burned on one of the only downfield passes last week against the Raiders too. And don't give me this "Well at least it's against Andre Johnson" because Johnson isn't doing anything special to be so open. I haven't seen Lewis do a single good thing yet this preseason.
