Re: Keys to beating Atlanta week 1
Rosy would have pushed off, dropped the pass, then throw a tantrum demanding a PI call.
I just had a brain fart... If throwin a hulk after a sack gets you a penalty.... Shouldn't jumping up and down like a whiny b1tch after a dropped ball get Rody a penalty also? |

Re: Keys to beating Atlanta week 1
Stuff their run early, establish our run early. Beat the mess out of Ryan when he drops back, and no tater-headed special teams moments. It also depends on how many phantom PI's White and Jones manage to whine enough about then get it called (since that seems to be their only strategy in their passing O). STOP GONZALEZ. We negate Jewel-O, Snoddy, and Gonzalez by being in Ryan's face often. If the d-line can pressure by themselves, that'll make it tough for Ol' Fragile Matty overall as his feelings will get hurt and he will quit.

Re: Keys to beating Atlanta week 1
Better than W. Smith would have been; he simply was out of place out in space (that happens when you convert a lifelong 4-3 DE to 3-4 OLB). Haven't paid much attention to Haralson before now, to be honest. Hopefully he understands the system quickly, but he's a real pro and should be more than able. Big dude (255lbs), so don't know how much agility he has in coverage. ATL will test him, I'm sure. I've read quite a bit about how consistent he is against the run, though.

1. Stop Stephen Jackson.
2. Don't give up too many big plays. 3. Hold them to field goals in the red zone. 4. Don't throw 5 picks. 5. Don't throw 5 picks. |

Score more points then they do.
