Thanks, everybody for all the wonderful comments and compliments. I sure don't feel like a celebrity, but I can truthfully say that I don't mind riding on Lance's coat tails a little bit -- getting a good table at a restaurant or little appetizers we didn't order making their way to our table... That part is very cool. I don't mind sharing Lance will all of you good people. He is part of the city of New Orleans now and forever and that makes me very happy. Lance loves Saints fans and he really enjoys visiting kids in school and going to the various hospitals to visit the patients. I does my heart good to know that my son can make people happy just by being himself and that he never tires of doing so. I love the city and its people. Anyone who hasn't been there doesn't know what he/she is missing.

I'll let you all know when I'm going to be at a game, then you can keep an eye out for me. I'll be the mom in the 16 jersey. Feel free to chat me up, and PLEASE call me Debbie or dmeeze. Remember, I really am just a regular mom... (And no, I won't get to celebrate Lance's birthday with him in person. Kasey will be there and I'm not trying to get in the middle of their celebration. I'll have a frosty adult beverage -- or FAB, as we call them -- and drink a toast to him tomorrow evening.)

Meanwhile, I'll be watching Nick tonight on my computer. The BC Lions are on, so for me, it's football night!!!
