Agreed...

I've been critical of the trade for Ingram and his use, or lack thereof...

But you take Ingram out of the picture, well, you could end up with a Seattle Playoff game again where the RB corps gets thin, fast...

If we traded Ingram to the G'nats, we'd have to get a RB (i.e. Da'rel Scott) and at least a second round pick in return...

That's ridiculous... Losing Ingram wouldn't mean a damn thing. What has he done so far that Pierre or any number of undrafted RB's can't do?! The Seattle playoff game was a result of losing Pierre and Reggie... Well we have Pierre and a better version of Reggie in Sproles so how would losing Ingram hurt us? Ingram hasn't shown that he has any worth so far... Other than hypothetical situations where he would have to be better than Julius Jones.

Chris, if we trade Ingram that leaves only Pierre, who's a 10-12 touches per game guy...

You may get by with 2-3 run plays/draws with Sproles, but you start running him more at his size between the tackles, one of those meat grinders will be there anticipating for him in the right run lane and then he's done at his size...

While I like Robinson so far, there's still some development and maturation needed for him to become a real solid pro...

If we were to trade Ingram, it would have been in the first round of the draft to get an Outside Linebacker and allowing us to acquire another RB to develop and learn the system in the offseason...

We've got three RB who've got it down, so let's roll with that and maybe get the Ingram Express rolling for a change with 15 touches a game...
