Since Graham's awesomeness happens week in and week out, much like Ingram's YPC, it's fair discussion.

Given the topic, a football team, of course there will be a large degree of repetitiveness in what we discuss, and anything related to the team is fair discussion, but it seems we no longer can talk about something on its own merits, especially when it comes to Ingram. Look what happened in the thread that got locked: OP expressed an opinion on Robinson's performance, I expressed a different opinion of Robinson's performance, but rather than discuss the merits of Robinson's performance, people kept on throwing Ingram at me, his yards per carry this year, and how many picks the Saints used in the 1st round ot get him... every single response to my posts had Ingram in it. This begrudging of Ingram reminds me a lot of Ricky Williams. Just like Ingram, Ricky had no say on how many picks the team decided to use on him, but people begrudged him because of it, and because of the number of picks spent on him, he was expected to get 2000 yards every year. Anyway, my opinion, right? I guess I will continue to steer away from any discussion about Ingram, probably any discussion about RBs, and ignore replies with Ingram in them. |
