Talent leaves if Haz stays???
Not to throw gas on the fire, but it appears we may have players quitting on Haz. If Benson (Loomis) does not fire Haz I could see McAllister wanting out of this town. As well as Brooks, Horn, Howard etc.
We could see an exodus of great players if Benson doesn't do something. Whats the saying about rats and a sinking ship? Of course if we lose all our big salary star players it would make the team much easier to sell and/or move. It would also make the profits much larger for Tom and his family. |

Talent leaves if Haz stays???
Question - we\'ll call it a hypthetical....
Imagine a team that has been .500 for years now. They can only be categorized as the most consistently inconsistent team in the league. Every year you get promises and overhauls that lead nowhere but 8-8. Players leave and bad-mouth the organization. Stars in season are fed up and speak out against the coaching staff. Might it be safe to assume there are some underlying problems with the staff and front office that make this team appear less than professional in the eyes of others around the league? Would you say that the term \"mickey mouse\' often categorizes over unprofessionalism and underachievement? |

Talent leaves if Haz stays???
Let them all leave, at least we win every other game now, I remember when I prayed we would win at least one each year. Haz is gone and I would trade Brooks now, because he is not the leader I thought he would be, especially after attempting to blame the rest of the team for his shortcomings. Let\'s face it his fumble cost us the momentum and the game, period.

So Saintfan - would YOU classify the team as \"well run?\" Or do you think that unprofessional is a better categorization, right now?

Well Run? Well that would depend on which area of the organization you\'re bashing today huh?
But then you and I know where this originated don\'t we? You still can\'t find a single player other than Kyle Turley that made the Mickey Mouse comment. You ran to Gator\'s rescue but couldn\'t rescue him. It\'s ok to fail Whodat...you need to keep trying. That\'s the important thing. By the way...still waiting for your comments over in Everything Else where your recent chirping really belongs. I responded to your latest post there but you seem to have abandoned the thread. It\'s Ok. I\'m patient. |

You\'re right Saintfan, Turley is the only person to have ever used the words \"Mickey Mouse\", and if your view is so myopic as to not be able to realize that other players\' comments mean essentially the same thing, then I am sorry for you. For example, can you not see how Cam Cleeland\'s comments echo Turley\'s concerning the professionalism of this organization? I bet not.
Meantime, you continue to try to deconstruct arguments without making any argument to the contrary. You expertly slip direct questions. Let\'s try it another way. What parts of this organization ARE well run? My guess is that you cannot make a valid argument beyond the finance and marketing departments. That\'s a shame, considering \"football operations\" is the entire point of it all in the first place. Then again, I bet that you don\'t even try to make an argument - you\'ll attack me or mine without any positive reinforcement for any contrary view. |

The place for your latest \"attack\" (to use Gator\'s words) is over in everything else, where, by the way, I\'ve been waiting for your response for quite a while now. Still waiting.
As for the team being run well, I think tying \"Mickey Mouse\" with a handful of unhappy players is pushing it. I think the coaching leaves a bit to be desired, but to say the team isn\'t \"well run\" or that it\'s a \"Mickey Mouse\" organization is you pushing things just a bit...as usual. Still waiting over in \"everything else\" by the way. I wonder if you\'ll show up? |
