Re: Saints bring fresh faces into Week 1 vs. Atlanta

Someone please help me... We will be in a 3-4 20% of the time and the rest will be 4-3... I doubt there are any players in the NFL that haven't played both.. Even our veterans have played both on this team.

Whats all the panic over learning the "new" defense?

I don't get this; why completely change personnel for 20% of the time? Why move from smaller quick D-Line for larger and slightly slower so they can handle double teams 20% of the time? Same with the LBs...

All I've seen was that he only blitzed his ILBs 20% of the time?

Thanks that link helped a lot.. I took the most from the last part which I believe most of already know.

Besides. The Saints don’t need a great or good D. They just need one that doesn’t suck at an a historical level. If Rob Ryan’s 3-4 Under-based unit is even regular bad, the Saints will once again be contenders.

And if its Good-bad.. SB here we come!
