Thats my point spkb. Nobody on that line is playing. Grant and Howard rush the qb on everyplay and get knocked outside opening the inside running lanes. They are out of position to make tackles in the run game. Im not defending Sullivan, just making a point that there is plenty of blame to go around.

Seems to me that Haslett is trying to get through through to Sullivan:
\"If you don\'t want to work and give your best effort, then go sit on the sidelines and watch someone who will!\" Too bad Sullivan still doesn\'t care. He knows that he\'d take his millions of dollars and sit on the bench any day. It\'s like free money to him. But the whole D-line\'s problem is that the coaches have groomed our ends to rush upfield and pressure the QB. Meanwhile, the undersized DT\'s are getting manhandled by larger, more powerful guards. The DT\'s can\'t get off of their blockers, and the ends are so far upfield that they\'re practically useless. What\'s worse is the fact that our LB\'s aren\'t big enough to take on blocks by extra linemen. So the SLB gets knocked out of the play, leaving only Watson and the secondary to stop the running back, who has now gained at least 5 yards from the shredded D-line. |
When it comes to discussing Saints losses, Jack Daniels can be a great listener.

You damn right it falls fast after all the Saint\'s fans have been through we should have a firing squad assembled outside the superdome to kill whoever is responsible for our daily loss
