Re: OFFICIAL SAINTS V FALCONS GAMEDAY THREAD
I'm so pleased with our defense. Roman Harper looked like he did in 2009. Vacarro is a stud. Greer and Jenkins looked a little lost, but our front 7 was great. We just held a top 5 offense to 17 points. F*** the yards. Like I said before, yards don't mean anything. And for all of you who thought they did, this should show you they don't.
The things I was impressed with the most is the fact we shut down Stephen Jackson in the run game. He had that one big run. Take that away and his biggest contribution was catching passes out the backfield. Now the offense, I like the balance; but I'm tired of Mark Ingram now. Drew had me scratching my head a couple of times too; but I'll take it. We've got to get touchdowns in the red zone though. No more of that field goal stuff. Special teams, we lost great field position twice because of dumb penalties. Actually the whole team was committing dumb penalties. The flag on Vacarro was B.S. though. Overall I'm extremely happy and super excited for the rest of the season. Who dat back. |

It was really, really good seeing Payton back on the sidelines where he belongs.

I agree! SP on the sideline is an absolute must, as last season proved!

@LarryHolder: Roman Harper says Curtis Lofton is called "5-0" because you can't get away from him.
