D is markedly improved from last year...that didn't really need to be said. However, the team from Georgia's D is also a bit better than last year, which is why our O looked a bit out of it. D won that game, and it's proved yet again that the Saints are just simply better than the Clowns whether it's in a shoot-out or in a defensive battle. Saints are just better than that team from Georgia. Glorious.

We have some new blood all over the place and they will gel, it wont take long.
On another note, Brees seemed to have lacked accuracy this game. He underthrew his man several times. I will hold out total enthusiasm until I can figure out how much of it was Atl Oline as much as our D. I think Atl is going to have serious problems in that regard this year. A team like SF would have killed Ryan. |

Ive been saying that all offseason. Other backs could find holes in our line, I dont know why he cant find any.

I was not overwhelmed when we brought in Ryan: so-so resume and he looks like a WWF manager.
But, great scheme today, D played with swagger, and as Albert said during the game, they had more fire and emotion today than at any point last year |

I thought our offense looked fine. Take way the underthrown balls and we put up 40. |
