My Rule is that kickers do NOT get a pass within 40 yards in a dome, and should be hitting between 40-49 yards in a dome at about 75-80%. Kicks from 22, 31, and 48 ain't bad, but it's at home...in the dome. He keeps popping on the road, I'll certainly take my crow. Special Teams in general, I'm still thoroughly unimpressed with returns and/or McMahon...they average 10.5 in punt returns and we average 1.8? With Sproles? And the penalties on the returns? It is a guarantee that we lose at least one game due to special teams being a huge factor.
Whoops, completely negative rant...our D was bad@$$ and I'll take 35:11 Time of Possession any game. Great win. |
