this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm an LSU fan and I still say NO! He's way too inconsistent and chokes under pressure. Have you ever seen him in pre game warm up? He has trouble hitting receivers consistently just playing catch....

I think this thread is a little premature.
Gotta wait until closer to the end of the season to make judgments on Mettenburger. Also, no way to know where we draft. Is it time to start looking for a replacement for Brees? Man, I can't get my head out of next week much less think about that. |

No! Metinburger was so so last year, and so far has had good games against no name teams this year. Lets see how he handles Alabama. I bet he has his azz handed to him in that game. I hope not, but I bet he does.
