Re: Would you pull the trigger on Mettenburger?
Mettenberger needs to get a few more games under his belt with Cam Cameron as his OC/Quarterback coach, before anyone can make an intelligent decision. He has looked pretty good these past 2 games under new coaching and should only get better...
Well; TCU was ranked #20th and they always have a good defense... |

I'm an LSU fan and I still say NO! He's way too inconsistent and chokes under pressure. Have you ever seen him in pre game warm up? He has trouble hitting receivers consistently just playing catch.

Re: Would you pull the trigger on Mettenburger?
I think this thread is a little premature.
Gotta wait until closer to the end of the season to make judgments on Mettenburger. Also, no way to know where we draft. Is it time to start looking for a replacement for Brees? Man, I can't get my head out of next week much less think about that. |

He has one of the strongest arms in the nation and his touch looks much improved. Doesn't hurt to finally have someone that can coach. Cam Cameron has been a god send. |
