Actually I consider this good news. I was expecting it to be an Achilles tendon injury.

In other news, Walker posted some pictures of his leg all wrapped up on facebook, but they are gone now. I'm assuming the Saints management had him take them down.

Surprised nobody has opened up the debate about taking Meachem on the roster instead of a D player. Just this reason :-/

Hicks can spell Jenkins at the nose, Galette can move down to the line especially since it looks like Martez is finally ready to go.

Starting to look pretty thin but hopefully it's only a week or two. Otherwise maybe look up Jay Richardson.

Perhaps Meachem has one of those deals with the staff where they can cut him and bring him back as needed throughout the season, like they did with Camarillo.
