Morstead restructures deal

#Saints PK Thomas Morstead did a simple restructure of his contract before Week 1. Still makes $2.25M this year. Saves $1M against 2013 cap.

He restructured before week 1, so I'm not sure DT is what we were targeting. But it certainly might be now.

Sure
I say give him $50k per tackle until he hits the million mark. Give him an option to re-up after 20 tackles, when maybe Hartley can re-do his deal.

Pay that man...never too excited by punters, but after watching a few other teams' punters, Morstead is a field-position-changing machine. Oh, and a touchback machine, too...both pretty much mask ST Coordinator McMahon's Kick Coverage School of Flawed Logic. Not many can get angle, hang-time, AND distance like Morstead.
