Khiry Robinson? Travis Cadet? Do they have any Defensive pieces that might be interesting for us?

They'll probably just work out a free agent RB like the Giants did and see if he sticks. Less costly for them to give up a player or draft pick unless they just really have someone highly scouted on another team.

Yeah. While trading always sounds nice, at this point it's probably only going to happen with a team that feels like they have a legitimate chance at making a run at a Super Bowl. Indy was fine last year with Ballard and Brown, & now they have Bradshaw and Brown. I wouldn't suspect any trades to go on there just yet. I also don't like the suggestion of Khiry Robinson being traded. The kid was an UDFA that had a flashy preseason. At best, he would get us a 6th round pick or an equivalent prospect. I like his upside a little more than that.

Re: Colts RB problems - Trade possible?

I think Indy have a very legitimate shot at a Superbowl. The Texans have a history of choking and were less than stellar in their season opener (although so were Indy). It would not surprise me if Indy won the AFC South. With the AFC East and AFC North being a complete mess, a #2 overall seed for winning that division is possible.

I can see Indy being interested in a deal for someone a bit more long-term. Khiry Robinson and Travaris Cadet have already both been mentioned in the media. There are a number of free agent options who may also fit the bill. I am not entirely sure what we would want in return though. It would have to be a promising trade for trade player, otherwise a pretty decent draft pick/conditional.

I'll stick my neck out and say they end up taking on a Free Agent but don't rule out a couple of phone calls into Mickey Loomis just yet

Most people thinking about trades quickly jump to what we want. Think about what you have that they want first, then decide what you are willing to give up, then you decide what you want.

So Indy wants a RB, you are willing to trade K. Robinson, what do you think Indy is going to give for an undrafted rookie running back that has never played a down in regular season football? Ill turn the table on you, you wake up and Sean Payton has traded any of our players for an undrafted rookie that has never played a down. I would be just a little upset.

Out of curiosity, why those two? What are you hoping to get with an unproven rookie RB? Are you just trying to help Indy or do you want to make us better with someone that can play next week?

Why would Indy want to trade for either of those when they could PU any free agent RB or grab someone with potential off of someone's practice squad and not have to give anyone up?
