We have to combat their two offensive weapons. One on passing offense and one on rushing offense. If we can win with a rushing offense that has no more than 40% of the plays and then that rushing offense has not too many week-1-Ingram-styled rushes. I think our passing defense is the focus today, strangely.

I don't agree with that.

Maybe Toon is active next week and Meachem hangs out inactive until an injury.

This was an U-G-L-Y game overall. Apart from Jimmy in the first half, and Marques at times, the receivers didn't distinguish themselves. Their QB didn't help their cause.

I think the Bucs D is talented. No discipline at all across the entire team. Schiano is a cancer.

Meachem- 0 catches and targetted only once. Better recreate himself as the next Roby or he will be the next Stallworth

Meachem wasn't anywhere near the one thrown to him. Was Brees off or was meach too slow?

So many around here have been blasting Brees for his underthrows. If that is a fact, then Meachem has lost it and is simply much slower.

Or, in Brees' defense, perhaps his current receivers are faster and he has not had a chance to get totally in sync with the reduced practices mandated by the new CBA. He still seems to be hitting Colston and Graham with no problem. He is not used to the speed of the others. It takes time.

Well Meachem did have a step on the defender so he may not have lost much.
