Sproles is best used for 6-10 touches a game; it's like in Baseball, coming back with the heater after two offspeed pitches; but if you give 'em the heater all the time; they'll figure it out...

Ingram should be a 12-15 touches a game all-around back; but it seems like the mental speed of the NFL game overmatches him; he's not in sync and seems to be thinking too much in stead of his game getting to a reacting, reflex style of running...

I don't know if the Saints coaches trust Cadet, Robinson yet...
We all agree PT is probably a top 10 RB talent wise in the league. But if we give him 10-20 more touches per game he won't last 12 weeks. We absolutely need another RB to take about 15 touches per game from PT/Sproles.

More and more its looking like Ingram just isn't the right fit. I don't know why its not working for him yet, but it doesn't matter, its just not working.

Whats changed from the last nine games of 2012 when he averaged 4.3 YPC (109/468)? He came into 2013 in the best shape of his career, a bit slimmer and was noticably faster and quicker.

Kromer perhaps? Did he really make that big of a difference in Ingram?

I don't know but somethings gotta change.

Nonsense. He's running hard and giving it his all. Some have suggested he's trying too hard.

And I'm fairly certain he has no plans to go back to college.

For everyone who says Thomas won't last if given more work How do you know that the guy has never been given a chance to touch the ball more than 20 times except twice in all the time he has been here. I think that's the main problem with our running attack we have guys that are situational and the defenses have seen enough tape they know whats going to happen before it happens or at least have a real good idea whats about to go down

Open your Eyes Man And Stop Defending the guy. He runs like he is Dragging a Anchor behind him. He is a Back up at best
I hate to be so harsh on the guy but it is what it is

He's wound me right up but I don't doubt he is giving it his all. He doesn't look lazy, just not very good. I don't think we are questioning his mentality, just his out and out ability. I have no doubt he wants to be better. You can see he is frustrated and down. I admire that he cares. He just isn't good enough. End of.

The coaches are probably still remembering 2010 when he missed 10 games due to injury and we were left with street scubs for the playoffs.

I dont question the guys work ethic, but no matter what the reasons are he is not flourishing here. I dont see any improvement, if anything he has regressed. Its time to move on. I dont care what we do with him as long as come gameday hes not on the field. Maybe if we are up by 4 scores it would be fun to put him in and run the hell out of him and see what happens. Doing it during close games is not the time.

Sounds like he should be playing for Mike Smith!
