Enough Said Reggie Bush ~ Was not a bust... no more than he was in Miami, and I dont recall anyone calling him a bust. Reggie was let go because of the same reason we let Chris Ivory go.. Couldn't stay healthy. Reggie Bush had his most productive seasons rushing and receiving as a Saint. He had ONE season where he played more than 15 games for New Orleans. Reggie Bush scored more TD's per year as a Saint than a Dolphin. Reggie Bush: Career Stats at NFL.com And Reggie bush was a hell of a lot more productive than Mark Ingram... You are way off base. And the number of Heisman Trophy RBs we have destroyed is 3... You may as well tack on Rickey Williams. The correct synopsis would be that Heisman Trophy winning Running Backs do not pan out in the NFL with high powered passing offenses... Or you could say that the NCAA has not produced a Heisman Trophy winning RB worth two ****z in the last 24 years...Period Here are all of your last HT Winning RB for the last 20 years Mark Ingram Reggie Bush Ron Dayne Rickey Williams You have to go back 25+ years to find a Heisman Trophy winning RB that did something in the NFL Barry Sanders 1988 Bo Jackson 1985 |

Re: Ingram- What do we do with him?
Tell ya what- Sean better get off his high horse and start one of those other guys because we have 0, and I mean 0 run game right now. I am glad he keeps doing it even though it isn't working, but we need to start to move the ball. MI cannot seem to get it done so bring in the young Robinson and at least give the guy a shot. Back in the day when our running game was stalled we'd bring in Ivory let him knock over like 4 people and that would get the rest of our guys going. We have nothing right now. PT cannot carry the load as a full time RB. Nope. We need to find someone who can get it done.
I have no doubt that MI is a professional and trying to be successful. He just doesn't seem to be able to get it done. |
Your team stinks

I am willingly eatting crow on this guy.
He is done. We should have shipped him off. He's never going to get the 15-20 touches "He needs" to "Get up to game speed". I'm sorry, but he is a bust for the Saints. He may do great things elsewhere; but for us he is taking up space. Someone pass the pepper please. |

I believe that it wasn't enough is because he sat on the bench once he got it jumpstarted.

Give him away for a rd 5. He is trash. I would trade him to the Russian league and have his citizanship revoked.

You folks are brutal. PT wouldn't have made it in on that play either. Why not start with having the O-Line block someone?
