Re: Ingram- What do we do with him?
I have nothing to add to the hammering, as none of this is surprising to me. I'm just glad to see the majority of our fans are finally getting it. I couldn't take the excuses people were making up for him anymore.
"He gets better with more carries". "The offensive line only blocks for the other backs". "Last year he was overweight, but this year he's lighter on his feet". At some point, if you are actually a capable runner, you have to be able to overcome whatever circumstances you have. Be it the system, the blocking, or whatever. When you are consistently awful and your teammates are all out producing you, the fact is that you are just not good. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

And no one said he was over-weight last year, only that this year he appeared to be in great shape. Pay attention, it helps. Typical uninformed agenda driven drivel... predictable. |

Re: Ingram- What do we do with him?
My mom lives in Ville Platte, she sends me king cake every year.
But I miss the spicy fried chicken from Coop's on Decatur, the praline bacon and pastrami at Elizabeth's, a roast beef poboy from Mother's with all the grease and drippings you can pile on it, shrimp poboys from Toms Fried Chicken in Bayou Chicot. Even Popeyes and Raisin Canes. Stuff you can't put in the mail. Needless to say my intinerary next month consists of a week of eating 5 meals a day and then Saints vs. Bills if I'm not in the emergency room with a heart attack. |
