well this is a Saints message board and presumably full of Louisiana people.

Maybe the real question is, how come there isn't already a recipe forum?

Particularly for those of us now stranded in boring white bread Midwestern towns where their idea of a gourmet meal is chicken and noodles.

Just being there is not enough.

I keep saying I'm not going to read or post in these Ingram threads anymore but it's just too much fun.

Also, I hate the "_______ hater" thing. I don't hate the guy and I don't think most rational people do. I just don't like the way he plays football. I feel sorry for him really. This is chance to live his dream and it isn't working out for him. It must be tough being him right now. By all accounts he's a good team mate and a hard worker. I wish him nothing but success.

Can't argue with that. Most of us here probably cook more than our wives/GF's anyway.

That actually sounds like a good idea.

And black pepper is considered "spicy".

And no one said he was over-weight last year, only that this year he appeared to be in great shape. Pay attention, it helps.

Typical uninformed agenda driven drivel... predictable.
Danno, I wasn't speaking to you and yet I was certain you would be the first to respond. You have been undoubtedly Ingram's biggest supporter on this board.

Who are you to tell me who I have spoken to, or what I have read? Are you stalking me, sport? I have read and heard NUMEROUS times "he gets better with more carries". It is irrelevant how many touches he has ever had in a single game, as this has been an assumption made without regard to facts by many, many people.

You say that many agree he gets no blocking when he gets the ball. Therein lies the excuse "the offensive line only blocks for the other backs". I put it in a sarcastic light, but believe me I have heard some tell it in those words... As if ALL of our other backs over the past couple years get better blocking than one freaking guy who magically disappears when he's in the game.

And finally, yes people have most definitely said he was overweight before. I didn't say morbidly obese. I'm not talking Jerome Bettis (though he sure managed to have a successful career). But when someone says a player is lighter on their feet, you are not going to bull s*** me that they aren't saying he was overweight before. That's a rather petty argument you're trying to make.

Before you call someone uninformed again, you might want to acquire a clue of your own.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: Ingram- What do we do with him?

This thread needed some new convo so i distracted with meat porn and it worked well..

Look brother, I live in Texas. Texas can grill and they can enchalada, but they CAN NOT COOK.

Beat this, a co-worker confided in me that his church has a gumbo weekend where they sell bowls to raise money... They add Worcestershire Sauce for color. and....people... buy it... Now Rudys BBQ and Mexican food, there is none better then in houston.

When I buy leeks for potato soup I get looked like I am buying a bag of baby seal eyes. and always get, ..."whats daaaat"

We can make it happen if you think there will be enough regular contributions...
