New Orleans Saints' Injury Report: September 18, 2013

New Orleans Saints re-sign CB Chris Carr and place CB Patrick Robinson on Injured Reserve
Man, that is a scary list of injurys to look at for the defense. Bunkley, Johnson, Harper, Qudddus, and foster not practicing, with Walker limited, and Wilson, Gallette, Hicks, Lofton, and Greer pusing through injuries just to participate in practice? Does anybody else have concerns? Those are all solid defensive players. Who do we have in our depth chart to pick up their slack of they go down? Why do Rob Ryan defenses seem so injury prone? Is that what it takes to be good? Agressive equals injury prone? Also, if we lose Strief who is going to cover his posioion? Brees is already seeing more pressure than he has ever seen while with the Saints.

I have a hunch about why Rob Ryans D seems so injury prone compared to our others

Last couple years - no live tackling for the defense in training camp, only hit and let them run which in turn caused to be probably the worst tackling defense in the entire NFL history

This year - live tackling for the defense in training camp, more injuries but only missed 2 tackles all game vs bucs

just my 2 cents

I doubt Harper doesn't play.. I wish Foster was going to play but I'm guessing he sits till hes 100%. Toon isn't on the report does that mean hhe's ok to start?

Well we have seen over the years that if a player doesn't practice Friday he never plays Sunday.

Glad that Tyrunn Walker is close to coming back. That is excellent news. I sure hope Glenn Foster makes it back soon too.
