Khiry Robinson runs nasty

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd like to see what he can do from the start. On one hand, Arizona's D was not fresh. However, on the other hand, EVERYONE knew when he lined up out there that we were running. There was no illusion ...

On one hand, Arizona's D was not fresh.

However, on the other hand, EVERYONE knew when he lined up out there that we were running. There was no illusion that we were not trying to run out the clock...

By the same token, EVERYONE knew the game was over, the Arizona D completely stopped pressing, and there was no illusion that Arizona was going to mount a comeback, and I am pretty sure the Cardinals wanted the clock to run out so they could leave.

aT least he got SOMETHING, which is better than any of our backs have done. I was just happy to see a run period.

Precisely what people use as a reason for Ingram. Yet... Knowing, didn't stop him, and knowing didn't help the 3rd ranked rushing defense. Of course the "gassed" reason could be tacked on but Ingram ran against defenses in the 4th qtr also, albeit the defenses were not as good against the run.

That's the problem with rationalizing, sooner or later, someone gets it done in that same exact situation and the reason becomes pretty null.
