Brees leads Saints past Cardinals, 31-7

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- With Drew Brees finding his usual rhythm, and the Saints defense showing vast improvement under new coordinator Rob Ryan, it appears that coach Sean Payton is putting together another contender.

Brees passed for three scores and scrambled for New Orleans' first touchdown rushing of the season, leading the Saints to a 31-7 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

The Saints quarterback was 29 of 46 for 342 yards, with two TD strikes to tight end Jimmy Graham and the other to Robert Meachem.

That was some game.
So happy for them to that kind of win there too for our fellow posters here who go to the games and the home town fans there.

Haaa! I called it. Meachem down the right side for a TD, and if they had actually let Khiry run in the last minute of the game he would have scored too. I like the idea of keeping him fresh ,then running him in the last quarter to wear down an already tired defense.

Brees has thrown for 1021yds so far this season. Thats an average of 340yds per game.
