MIA, CHI, NE - The real gauntlet??

Just read an article on ESPN. Our next three opponents are undefeated - Miami, Chicago and New England.

So what concerns you more?

Playing those three back to back to back now OR playing San Fran, Seattle, Atlanta on short time later in the season?

Latter in the season.. When we see whoseplayoff bound aand whose not. Win or lose games bring the best and worst out of teams.

I honestly believe we're running away in this division. We should win two of the next three. We have the defense to slow down Brady as it took pats a q and a half to even get going. The bears honestly have not beaten anyone and well if there is one team who knows how to win those games in the trenches, its us. I think we can definitely get one of those. Miami is a interesting matchup. And its been one I have been concerned about all offseason. Whoever wins Sunday night, the other conference wins Monday night. Last week both NE and Mia won in their NFC South matchups. I think a split happens here.

By the time we get to SF, Atl, and Sea we could 8-1 or 6-2 and do not think we lose to both Dallas and SF so before Atlanta we could be 9-1, 8-2, or 7-3. I feel Atlanta is gonna lose one of their home games coming up, and will lose at Arizona and at either Carolina, TB, or both. We will have the upper hand this time. Last year we went 0-3 in that stretch, this is a different year based on what we have seen so far with Atl and SF.

I can't believe I didn't see you post this before writing my diatribe in another thread :) I'm an idiot haha.

Honestly right now, MIA-CHI-NEW is by far the greater concern.

Only 1 is NFC (CHI). San Fran, Seattle, and ATL are all NFC so they are more important. All that matters right now is preparing for Miami though. The 49ers are coming apart...Seattle will be a HUGE test.

Seahawks, Falcons and 49ers are more important games. Spot on. I just think right now they are less daunting.

Seahawks is going to be a real test. Don't rule out that being an important tie-break decision maker for playoff seeding.

Now if we win both games the bears and dolphins and analyst are gonna say we beat them without wake and melton on the field. Hell you can throw the pats in with that with their wr issues. The only game I'm truly nervous about is that seattle game.

Who cares?! It still counts as a win...

I don't like Atlanta on the road with a short week. Thursday night road teams have a .362 winning percentage (2006-2012). That's much lower than the standard road percentage of .432. Couple that with the fact that they play the 9ers, a very physical team, just four days before, and I think it's a very distinct disadvantage.

I'm very surprised that the Saints have had that exact scenario two years in a row.
