... Unlike the Dolphins, though, we at least think of the Saints as a blue-chip franchise, or have been since Brees rode into town. The Saints are one of those teams, like the Packers, Steelers, and Patriots, who we recently expect to see in the postseason, even if we don’t necessarily see them going that far; it just feels like they belong ... And whether the Saints’ quest for vengeance actually has anything to do with their 3-0 start, and what should be an impressive season, it just doesn’t matter: the two will be linked. Correlation doesn’t mean causality, but sometimes, it makes for a better story.

While I do agree with the overall sentiment and a few salient points of the article, I don't see the first three games (or this season) as a "vengeance" tour by the Saints. Had they been dropping 50-burgers on everyone out the gate, then yeah, I'da been thinking, "Daddy's back and he's pissed-off".

The team/staff have bigger fish to fry and have moved on, as has much of WhoDat Nation, IMO ... this kind of stuff is for the rest of the NFL to dwell on. "Being successful" is the best revenge and nothing says "success" more then a Division Championship and a trip to the SuperBowl, .
