Not to be outdone by ole' St. Nick, our beloved Saints managed to get all of their shopping done early this year.

In just one day, the benevolent beefcakes managed to gift wrap the NFC South to the Tampa Bay Bucks (who btw showed their extreme gratitude by playing a completely uninspired game on MNF). They also decided to give an extra special gift to the Bengals.. their first win of the season at Paul Brown Stadium. (As you know the Saints have a history of dubious "1sts")

Not willing to let the season of goodwill end there, Saint Nawlins kindly gave the Atlanta Falcons and the NY Giants what they'd been dreaming of ... (No, not a White Christmas) control of their own destiny for the 2002-03 playoffs.

Let's just hope there is an extra gift left under the tree come this weekend (or at least a cup of Gumbo)...Courtesy of Philly and Cleveland of course.
