let me see here. the dolphins were 3-0 because they hung around games till the end and pulled of wins. 2 of them on the road.

What a moron, is he really referring to 'karma' & Drew Brees getting hurt? SHAME ... and to think at a time in the early seventies I admired the Dolphins & their fans. No more. Late to the thread and seeing much of my initial @#$%! already covered, Old Maid's observation on when do you pull the starters? immediately caught my attention. When do you pull 'em?

Who pulls their starting QB with an 18pt lead and 5 minutes left in the game? Not me. That's only 3 scores, bub ... ever see what some of these NFL teams do with 5 minutes left on the clock? If I had the time and the inclination, I'd research any number of NFL games to see exactly how many teams have pulled their starting QBs with an 18pt lead and 5 minutes left, except I already know from experience not many do, and even then, it's only for a snap-or-two. Comparing Saints/Dolphins to Broncos/Eagles is just nonsense ... Manning would have remained in that game at an 18pt lead with only 5 minutes left, for shizzle.

I watched the game, I didn't see anything out of the ordinary ... disgruntled Dolphin fan just got his dreams of another 1972 season crushed ... that's all, :lol:.

Injuries happen when you take your foot off the peddle and the odd game will be yhrown away.Go out and score as many points as you can.Sports is entertainment and if you are paying big bucks for tickets i want my 60mins of entertaiment not 50 mins cause my team has a 15pt lead.

Nothing in the "analysis" by this distinguished writer identifies or suggests anything but honest effort and desire to win within the rules and no extra-curricular activities (like talk, or play beyond the whistle, or illegal hits).
