1Q MVP
so we are sitting at 4-0, and a lot of players have really stepped up. My question is, who is your first quarter of season MVP?
no stat-checking, no g** polls, just first thought in your head, who has been most valuable so far? |

Re: 1Q MVP
Sproles on offense with graham as a very very close second. Sproles loosens up the defense on those short passes we use to make up for our ****ty running game and helps take pressure off Graham. Really a toss up between the two.
Defense Im going with Jordon. Im not even thinking about Brees, because we all know that he is the real MVP, but thats a given. |

Re: 1Q MVP
Since you didn't specify player, I am going to say Rob Ryan!

Re: 1Q MVP
Hell yes! I was one of the many who wasn't crazy about him being our DC, but I couldn't be happier about being wrong about anything. I thought Jabari Greer's quote about how he loves playing for him summed it up perfectly. It clearly shows in the way the defense plays and it is working beautifully. This all still feels too good to be true, but I'm all in.

Re: 1Q MVP
My top 5 would be:
Brees Jordan Graham Lofton K. Lewis Narrowing it down is really tough, but considering we have very little run game and depend almost entirely on Brees to move the ball, and he still throws for 350 yards every game with people teeing off on him, it's got to be Brees. It's a shame almost, we have have a default team MVP award for Brees and then another one for somebody that is not Brees. |
