To my mind, the tag IS gonna be the "discount" to stay with Drew. Worst case scenario, he'll make a ton of money, top five money. Best case scenario, he gets a long term deal that will be really sweet and cap-friendly. The situation is not as bad as people think. He is not going to ask for $80 million dollars against the cap in one year.

He seems like that kind of guy ... when you're playing on a team like the Saints, you can always make up the money in endorsements, merchandise, postseason, yada', yada', yada' ...
