Agree, and what they will avoid to mention is that Brees only played half of those 54 games in the Dome. Quite a few of the other 27 games were outdoors and on grass.....like today against duh Bears.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Glad Brady's consecutive game TD streak ended at 52 (2 short of Drew Brees' 54). But now, the Pats will be angry next week when the Saints play them. And Gronk MAY be back.

That is going to be one tough game.

Yeah, they mentioned this yesterday during the denver/dallas game. If Peyton plays next season he will probably catch it. I can't see him going a game without at least one TD pass barring some catastrophic injury. At any rate, I'm going to enjoy this bonus now.

27 games is a lifetime in the NFL. maybe 2 lifetimes. Its nearly two complete seasons.

A lot can happen between now and Manning getting close to Drew's record. Injury, bad week, bad match up...

Every game is a tough game outside is normally tough for us. I do see this as a statement game. Win or lose it will say something about the team.
