CHICAGO -- How good do the New Orleans Saints look through five games of the NFL season? Even slow Solider Field couldn't keep Drew Brees and their offense from marching to the usual fast beat.
The Saints' quarterback has won a lot of games in many places, including the Super Bowl, but had gone 0-for-4 as a starter at the Bears' den, including playoffs. But after his team beat up the hosts, 26-18 on Sunday, he's got his first win in Chicago. With it, the Saints are now the last perfect team in the NFC. They are also its unquestioned best team. Anybody know what the weather looks like for Foxborough next week? Maybe should continue the "practice nearby the day before" ritual for outside away games. Seems to be helping. :-)
