Re: We need a True No.1 receiver ...
Still need a run game. We have a little. I would like to see 20-25 yards more a game (so 3-4 more first downs)

When we spread defenses out, all of our guys will have their day in the sun. PT was somewhat absent until Chicago...Sunday was his day. Next week someone else will be the go to guy because that's what the defense is giving us. I have no doubt, Payton/Brees will gameplan each week and pick those bones clean. Colston, Meach, Moore, Toon, Stills, Graham, Sproles, PT, Ingram, and on and on... When we get our running game going, things will really get ugly for our opponent. |

This thread makes me feel dumb.

Re: We need a True No.1 receiver ...
Most all of what the people who are taking a contrary stance to OP is correct but I can't argue with the idea of a "scare the hell out of the opponents DC" type of receiver is all that keeps this from being the greatest passing team ever.
We'd be unstoppable. We might even be able to run. |

Re: We need a True No.1 receiver ...
The Browns are reportedly shopping Josh Gordon for a 2nd round pick. Maybe we could offer a 3rd. Anybody on board?

Re: We need a True No.1 receiver ...
The Browns traded a better ingram away for a crappy 1st round pick, what make you think that they'd trade a pick to get a worse, older MI?

6'4" 220 lbs with a sub 4.4 40 time. If they would take Ingram or a 3rd round pick, I think it might be a huge steal. |
