MI active. Let the hating begin

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I've been a supporter of ingram and stood up for him for a long time Yes the O line is completely weak when it comes to our running game and as good as PT is, he can't get anything going ...

The one thing that annoys me about Ingram though is inability to put any power into his runs, he could have won the tampa bay game for us on a run play that was perfectly blocked at the 2 yard line, yet he got stopped at the goal line by a corner back.

All our RB's are struggling because of the O line, that much is true, but watch PT when a run play is blocked well and he gets to the second level, he puts his shoulder down and churns out about 3 more yards after contact. Ingram should be doing the same

The Tampa game is the game he re-injured his foot. I believe Oak posted the picture in a previous thread of his foot being bent backwards on the sloppy field near the goal line.
I was sitting 8 rows from the field right where it happened, you couldn't get much traction there as the grass would just give way. He needed one block there and he would have been in. But that is history so let's look to the future and hope he gets it going Sunday.
