Re: Loss to pats on Payton and Brees
You don't hear a peep out of them while we're winning and they're getting their butts handed to them weekly. We lose one game and here they come. That's ok. 3 1/2. That's how many games y'all are behind us. How's the view from down there?

Re: Loss to pats on Payton and Brees
Can't win when the officials make those kinds of calls in a tight game. They didn't even want to give Stills the TD. Before the commercials they were looking at it...WTF? The NFL needs to start reviewing helmet hits because I looked at the Jenkins hit and there was nothing there but air. It was a great hit. Probably one of his best and he clearly was making an effort not to make head contact. What else is he suppose to do, drop kick him? Come on.

Totally agree, I could NOT believe the play calling in the last f**king drive. Who the f**k took possession of Sean Payton's mind?

Re: Loss to pats on Payton and Brees
The part with Payton and Brees that upsets me, and it's very correctable, is letting the play clock run down to :01-:00 way way too often. It bit us horribly and I believe it is the #1 reason we lost the game. A busted play where Brees throws a pick and our best player rolls his ankle - that tells you something. You allow a team to defense to tee off all the time because they know when the ball is going to be snapped. You play with fire asking for a timeout to be called when the play clock is under 2 seconds, and we got burned. I'm not saying we have to go into hurry up like the Pats - and I like milking the clock as much as the next guy - but my god at least snap the ball before it reaches :02!
I really don't care if it's SP or McMike calling the plays, just get the ball snapped sooner! |

poor clock management in the last 2 1/2 mins - I was shouting that from the second it looked like we would score our last score. - W
