I love Lance Moore. Always say he is a stud. But, he has not played well this season.

There was nothing cute about it. Payton's play calling was horrible at the end. Execution also sucked azz. Combine that with the bad officiating and that sums up the day.

Shyte.

Re: Loss to pats on Payton and Brees

If someone would have said before the season started "Hey, you'll be 5-1 going into the bye week with your single loss coming at the hands of Brady with 5 seconds left" ... I think we can all agree that we would have been stoked as hell!!!

We'll be fine.

Plus, this was the Pats and the National Game of the Week, Week, Week - it was embarrassing to lose like we did...

It's not like Payton and Brees chose to have a bad day at the office during the playoffs; they got reminded of some things, as Hagan says they had to get their cutsey sh** out of the way...

We're getting healthier, though I think Corey White was on his way to replacing Jabari Greer; we'll have to assess the injuries and get back to work...
but it had to be to the pats

We have an easy fix on offense... just wait until he gets healthy.

Re: Loss to pats on Payton and Brees

I turned off the tv saying this loss is on Payton and Brees for poor time management. Time and time again the lesson is learned not to give Brady so many chances because he will capitalize. Yes there were bad calls, and yes we were playing a good team in the Pats. No worries about this loss, I am excited to be where we are. 5-1 doesn't suck

Re: Loss to pats on Payton and Brees

Playcalling was to "not lose the game" in the end instead of calling to win. That is more disappointing to me than the actual loss. We got conservative.

Re: Loss to pats on Payton and Brees

Reminded me of the Saints of old....play not to lose. With a QB like Brady it was way to much time left. Your defense can only hold up so long. I like the effort the team gave, we just didn't have the killer instinct at the end to put the Patriots away.
