The Saints are GARBAGE and got exposed for the TRASH they are
Seriously though, there are a ton of positives that can be taken away from this game.
NE is the winningest team in the past 10 years, and beating them at their house, after a loss just doesnt happen. I have never said this before and don't like to use refs as an excuse, but if it were not for them we would have won this game. Yes we made mistakes and didnt play our best ball, but the calls I saw today were atrocious. The false start that was clearly on them, the flag that was thrown as the playclock hit zero AND we called time out, and a play they ruled a catch that clearly hit the ground and bounced into their receivers hands all directly effected the outcome of this game. Some positives I saw Our line is getting better, last week it was in protection, and this week it was in the run game. We are starting to find our running game, this will be essential as the season goes on Kenny Stills is going to be a playmaker Watson and Brees are getting more chemistry, this will will drive defenses nuts trying to cover two tight ends that can catch Yea we lost, but to a good AFC team and if I am going to take a loss I will take one to the Patriots over most anyone. Also a loss makes our new defense aware of their own mortality. Its great when teams can really buy into what a coach is teaching, but sometimes that can lead to cockiness. I think we saw a little of that in the Bears game. This gives them the bye to get their **** together. Hey we are still 5-1 and the best team in the NFC Oh and Jenkins is a straight up baller this year. |

Couldn't agree more Dude. A lot of negatives and positives to take away from this one. Hopefully our running game is about to take off. The O-line seems to be playing better. If we get into a two tightend system like the Pats have run the past few years with the other weapons we have our O will become downright scarier that they already are.

Falcons trolls are going to get all excited seeing the title of the thread and then be crushed when they read its actual content. Well done.

They wouldn't know actual content if the thread was titled "Actual Content."

Hurts to lose a game like that in that moment, but yeah, take a step back and look at the big picture.
We are 5-1, got a stranglehold on the division, only loss is out of conference, our o-line and run game seems to be on the rise, got the bye week coming to get everybody good and healthy, and today proved we can play with anybody, even if it's on the road, even when Graham is eliminated, even when the refs are killing us. Lots of good signs. |

Re: The Saints are GARBAGE and got exposed for the TRASH they are
Only one NFC team will go to the Super Bowl. We must play better than this, when it counts, in order to be that team.
We will probably have at least a couple more losses before this regular season is over. What sets it apart is that in '09 we practically forfeited our losses in order to win in the post-season. We have Dallas, S.F., Atlanta and Seattle as MAJOR tests ahead. Without home field advantage, well... Alaska |

I just saw this thread in my twitter fees and thought it was a comment that got retweeted, was about to lose my mind haha.
I was super choked earlier, but honestly it was a good game and we almost beat a good pats team in their house, but we will be better for the loss. Time for a solid film study and hopefully we get some big names back after the bye. |

Mind games with the ATL trolls. Love it.
O-line looks to be getting it together, and this should give them confidence in running the ball. Anybody notice that Strief was out at RT? Yeah, me either. |
