What was difference with the Sproles hit?
I think I'm missing something. There are always questionable calls in games, but I have no idea why the hit on the defenseless reciever penalty by Jenkins was called and the hit later in the game on Sproles was not called for the same thing?
That made no sense to me and still doesn't. Just a non-call I suppose but it appeared to be as "bad" or worse then the Jenkins play. Not that it would have changed the game, but in the interest of player safety it seems terribly inconsistent. The one Bush had on the sidelines wasn't called either, if I remember correctly. |
