Buffalo Bills

Q: How many Buffalo Bills does it take to change a tire?

Only 1. Unless it's a blowout in which case they all show up.

Yea keep laughing. This is EXACTLY the type of game that the Saints always lose. Lately it has been the Rams but every year we lay a big **** egg playing a team we should beat handily.
Additionally the Bills this year are not as bad as their record looks. Their defense has looked very good and their offense hasnt been that bad either when their starting QB was in.

At least their fans have faith.

A look at the Remaining Schedule and and a prediction of each game.

It's been almost 20 years since the Bills were good. 13 or so with no playoffs. Bills fans are naturally an unhappy bunch.

I hate the first game after the bye week.

do not think the bills are a cake walk team. they have some serious talent on this club. If they keep their turnovers down this will not be an easy win.

Re: Buffalo Bills

The game against the Bengals was very much in play for the Bills. And, who did the Bengals just beat? Yeah, the team that just beat us. Lewis threw a TD on a 4th and 8 against an 8th ranked Bengals defense across the middle to his TE ( could have been right out of our play book ).Then with 1:10 on the clock threw another 40-yd TD to Marquise Goodwin when the Bengals blitzed. Lewis is clutch and with Spiller, they have a very good run game, too. So, like any Sunday, we better show up.

I am confused about one thing though, what's the moonshiner reference?

Im not predicting we lose, just saying I have seen plenty of games just like this one that we have lost. I would bet we win this one, but a loss would not surprise me in the least.

Sorry, don't want also be a Debbie Downer, but we had the same attitude when we went to Tampa...

That's where we learned how to give a game away...

Respect the opponent - they may not have much of a record, but they've got some talent there...

Buffalo Bills

Ladies... Are any of you under the impression that our outlook effects the game in any way, shape, or form?

How WE feel, act, or see the upcoming game doesn't effect the team one Iota.... It does effect members and fans that post and read here however.

EJ Manuel is/was the starter till injury.

Thad Lewis is the better QB.

This would take a long time to peruse. No time to 'splain, let me sum up.

We were a divided bunch in the early to mid Nineties. The group that enjoyed the Saints, appreciated a really good offense and a defense with a very solid D-line was called "Sunshiners."

The group that saw only the negatives of the team, expected the worst and generally hated life were called the "Moonshiners."

Hold on here. Last year Aaron Kromer responded to one of my posts on this here board just before playing the Chargers. Which is the first game the Saints won. I'm just saying.

... doesn't matter. I'm not disrespecting the Bills, but honestly, it just doesn't matter ... if there's one team you can count on to lose when they're supposed to, it's Buffalo.

I don't often outright predict/guarantee a win on Sundays, but when I do, it's against Buffalo,.

Re: Buffalo Bills

The Bills have a pretty decent defense with Super Mario & Dareus at D-Line, Alonso & Lawson at LBer, and Byrd & McKelvin in the secondary. Spiller is no joke out of the backfield either. And if any team exploits our special teams Achilles Heel it will be this team, as they have one of the best spec teams in the NFL.

This guy has some good advice.

I am from NY, about an hour from Buffalo. I am a Saints fan till the end, but I do still enjoy watching Buffalo everyweek as well. ( even though it usually ends in disappointing last minute loses ) .

You can't count out Buffalo just based on their record. It is deceiving. Buffalo has mostly had all close games, which 2 could have easily swung the other way. The Buffalo D ( Alonso is moving ) and Special teams will pounce when given even the slightest opportunity. Thad lewis has been playing great, and will probably only get better.

This game takes place on my birthday, and I excited because it will air on our local TVs and I don't have to drive somewhere to watch my Saints play. If Buffalo pulled out a win I would be extremely saddened on my Birthday :(.
