No wonder players want higher salary's because of stuff like this. I'd also like to know where all the fine money goes.

I don't think they want higher salaries because of things like this. They want higher salaries because they think they can get higher salaries.

Ironic that the old players didn't get paid much for their hard hits that are now illegal, but are getting money for it now

Using their "concern for player safety" to pay for their lack of care about it previously. I think Goodell is just going to keep making rules that are "for player safety" so he can keep fining the players. He's all about revenue. (i.e. 18 game schedule, team in London)
