Carolina is no where near being the NFC South Champions and with out that title they are thrown into the Wild Card mix which they are not very close to being in either. Look at Carolinas remaining schedule.. Do you think they have much of a chance (over 50%)? 6 Divisional games 49ers Patriots Dolphins Jets |

1. Seattle Seahawks NCW 6 1
2. New Orleans Saints NCS 5 1 3. San Francisco 49ers NCW 5 2 4. Green Bay Packers NCN 4 2 5. Dallas Cowboys NCE 4 3 6. Detroit Lions NCN 4 3 GB and detroit is the only teams we can only watch but one will eliminate the other in the playoff race for home field. that is the big prize in my book that how i look at it. the future is in our hands one game at a time and we decide whats going to happen |

Re: While we were sleeping (bye week)...
Some fluke injuries this past weekend, certainly not vicious hits, some were not hits at all. Seriously changed the chemistry of teams. I was looking at the playoff picture but I'm done with it. Carolina is not tapped out and Atlanta does not want to accept their fate. I hope the Pats game was a wake up call. Forget Seattle, another slip and we are going to be in a street fight in our own division.

Re: While we were sleeping (bye week)...
Presently no team in any conference has more than our 2 game lead... Even the all mighty undefeated Chiefs only have a 1 game lead in their division.
If you want to see a street fight, look at the NFC North. |

Re: While we were sleeping (bye week)...
I think the Panthers got a little something going on, but I don't know how far they'll carry it. We play them twice in the last four weeks.
Our next two opponents just came off nice wins, the Bill's against Miami, slight win, a scrappy team--and the Jet's, our next opponent, against the Patriot's. Dallas isn't going to be a piece of cake. Right now I think the Seahawks are the best in the league, and I've been feeling that way for a while. I'm not entirely confident in the Saint's, but I feel pretty darned good about them. But heck, even Tampa with no wins isn't a pushover. I'm glad we've got a bit of a lead is all I can say, and I hope the next time we're in a situation where we need to kill some time, that they'll at least try to make a first down with some sort of pass-play, even if it's risky, rather than give the ball back. |

Re: While we were sleeping (bye week)...
Panthers are definitely a power house...it takes one helluva team to drop 30 points on the Rams...

Re: While we were sleeping (bye week)...
Anything can happen in that dome. The falcons always find a way to make it dramatic, every single one of their games that they're trailing they always end up losing barely. Wilson teams have film on unlike Smith. Yes Seattle has a strong defense but in a 1 o clock game in the Ga dome they have a chance to lose. Seattle has played easy teams. They used Lynch early in the colts game to get a 12 point lead. They struggled at Houston until late, then they got easy home wins against 49ers, jaguars, and a little more challenge against the titans. Week 1, they had a hard time in Carolina. Atlanta isnt that defense, but their offense is at times better. This game just has trap written all over it for me. Atlanta is going to start getting it going and try to attempt to come back but us or GB will give them loss #7 ended their chances. |
