Right Under Our Eyes
Have been watching (rewatching) some of the Saints games from this season and while they may not be at the same talent level (yet), the Saints defensive formation is awfully similar to the early version of the "46" defense as it was first put in Chicago...
I know for most it's a "Who Cares - It Works" philosophy, but I was taken aback when I pulled some 80's Bears Defense formations and really wanted to tip my hat to the coaching staff for taking the best players and using a formation that maximizes and complements our best talent in that way... Way to Geaux!
