I can't understand why people don't have a little bit more confidence. We've lost one game, and that was to one of the best teams in all of football on the final play with a glaring penalty that wasn't called.

It seems to be more acceptable to have no faith in the Saints and have them win, then have faith and they lose.

Will the SB then also be considered a trap game?

Good question. Will we be looking toward a 2014 repeat already and take our opponent too lightly?

Re: Saints vs Jets

I think perspective gets over looked. "We" the fans and members of B&G could consider every game a lock and it would have zero effect on "them" the team... However as soon as someone sounds confident about a win someone here goes off on them and explains how they are somehow overlooking a team as if that effects the Saints on Sunday.

I highly doubt that the Saints as a team overlook any team any week. Bad games happen, just like bad days happen at all of our jobs.

If I had to vote for the most useless and most irrelevant post on every fan board around the entire universe (not just this one), its 100% without a doubt...

Re: Saints vs Jets

Jets Front 7 is pretty dang good, and our O-line is shotty so we won't run the ball very well against them. The passing game outdoors is nothing like it is in the Dome, especially with the pressure Pace, Wilkerson, and Richardson can bring just by themselves.

It will come down to which defense wins the turnover battle and which special teams outperforms the other. I've got a sneaking feeling our offense is gonna lay a big ol' turd in this one, so the D and our Spec Teams better have their ---- together.

Look, at the end of the day, if we play 110% we can beat anyone. If we lose, we will have beat ourselves.

One game at a time...

Re: Saints vs Jets

Every game is close at the beginning because the score is 0-0. If it weren't for the consistent slow starts and errors, plus the injuries, I would not be worried.

The Jets have no speed or separation at wr, an average te, and a decent running game. Daring them to pass, like the bungles did appears to be a good strategy, as long as our dbs show up to play. The Jets will quit if they get down by 15 or more. Otherwise they will be like a bedbug - hunkering down and sucking the life out of you.
