Andy Dalton is a good young QB, but not 49 points good. Dalton threw 30 passes for 325 yards with one pick and one sack and 5 TDs. He had a career day. The Bengals have a solid D and a good and improving offense.
Smith was 20 of 30 for only 159 yards with four sacs and two picks. From the Jet's games I've seen, Smith is average on a good day. Our D has been able to consistently pressure QB's. This has resulted in 24 sacs and 9 ints so far. I see the Jets as being a grade below Buffalo, especially at QB and D line. So, if Bree's has time he should shred the Jets secondary. Barring big mistakes....the game is ours. |
