Yes, and you are going back to the tie-breaker scenario. what weight does that hold if we do not finish tied? In the end, it could happen and perhaps we'll be talking about how it was a good thing we won all of our NFC games. But right now, a loss is a loss, and it puts a lot more pressure to win down this difficult stretch of schedule coming up. If we play our best, we can do it. If we continue to sputter, I think we can easily agree that we won't be pulling many rabbits out of the hat.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: Six and Two!
That's the whole point, too much football left to let one midseason loss to allow you to come calling out fans for not having common sense, because you are pissed about a loss...

Re: Six and Two!
Depends what you mean by low. At the start of the season, I didn't think we would be as good as 7-1. Please do not tell me I am not much of a fan. When I last looked, almost every team over the decades have made idiotic mistakes and play calls that have contributed to losses.

But within the context of the season this loss is inexcusable. And if others don't understand that, then I'm not going to sugar coat it. I get attacked for my opinions at times. People didn't like when I said the loss to the Patriots hurts equally to any other loss. Why? I don't know why. But this is my response to them and to the comments about today. This is why we come here, to discuss. I didn't sign up to come here and high five everybody when I don't agree with them. |

As to your first comment, I don't think you have low expectations if you didn't think we'd be 7-1. I thought we could be at least that. Oak didn't think we would be 6-2. And given our underwhelming schedule thus far, that seems like low expectations to me. |

It's one thing to be mad but attacking others isn't cool, makes the ones who can't find the ignore button not want to be here... |

When people continue to argue with me about simple math, I will in fact to tell them that they lack common since, yes. I respond to people who argue with me, because I disagree and have a human instinct to defend my own position. I'm pretty sure most people can handle that. |
