They have also been beating teams by a wide margin of victory. Our games have all gone down to the wire except for Cardinals. The Panthers also seem to have our number. Some of those games didn't really matter because we were already locks, but they were beating us even before we started pulling starters. Their D is better than any D we have played this year and our offense simply cannot play against old school, smash mouth, fundamentally sound defenses.

All that said I still think we take the division. Whatever happens after that depends on the offensive line. Hell NY did it twice and came in as wild cards so anything can happen.
How many teams had a losing record at the time we played them? Since teams peak and valley, it matters a hell of a lot more than what their record is 6 weeks later.

Also... If at the end you think we win anyway.. Why all the argument before it?

Re: Remaining Schedule

11-5 is my prediction

12-4 was my prediction at the start of the season

Its hard to believe this is the worst offensive team we have had since 2005, to much talent on this team.

I am curious as to why no one is afraid of the rams? We have not fared we'll against those guys in recent years and Zack Stacy is like Lynch or Ivory.

Who said no one was afraid of them?

I'm concerned about every team we play. The Rams, much like the Jets, are one of the games I worry about laying an egg in.

But if we bring our A-game, its an easy win. We would have easily beaten the Jets too if it weren't fro dumb mistakes and unforced errors.

Its sandwiched between the Carolina games so it has all the makings of a trap game.

Re: Remaining Schedule

I really worry about Carolina. We can be 11-5 with 2 of the losses coming from the Panties and still potentially miss the playoffs if they win the division.

Re: Remaining Schedule

Well I come up with 10-6 if we include the loss to the rams. That was my preseason guess too.

Re: Remaining Schedule

I agree with Danno on the poor execution comment, we always seemed tone a dropped pass away from going on a march downfield.
