The Panthers are playing well but have not beat any teams .. actually
Panthers have beat Giants 2-6, Vikings 1-7, Rams 3-6, Bucs 0-8, Falcons 2-6 (Falcons are the only team not in last place in their division that the panthers have beaten.. I see them dropping 1 to the Saints at least, 1 to 49ers, and 1 to the Falcons in Atl, minimum...
I see it the same way i did with the #3 Sack DE of the Bills Mario Williams... His whole schedule was against the most sacked QBs in the league... He got 1 against us.
One can argue that we have not beat any teams really either. Everyone we have beaten except the Bears have a losing record. So the same can be said for us. They have also been beating teams by a wide margin of victory. Our games have all gone down to the wire except for Cardinals. The Panthers also seem to have our number. Some of those games didn't really matter because we were already locks, but they were beating us even before we started pulling starters. Their D is better than any D we have played this year and our offense simply cannot play against old school, smash mouth, fundamentally sound defenses.
All that said I still think we take the division. Whatever happens after that depends on the offensive line. Hell NY did it twice and came in as wild cards so anything can happen.
