Two immediate reactions came to mind from a New Orleans Saints perspective after Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers went down with a fractured collarbone on Monday night:

It could help the Saints’ chances of earning a top-two seed in the NFC.
It was the latest reminder of how important it is for the Saints to keep quarterback Drew Brees healthy.

My thoughts exactly when Drew was getting tossed around like a rag doll on Sunday.

I liked having Mark Brunell sitting behind Drew.

Brees is going to have to run like an option qb. behind this line. He is not built for that but the #2 qb. is.
